Spec Home: Shelley, ID
This home was designed with function and aesthetic in mind. Grutes Dirtworks and Construction built this home from the ground up, which means that it features everything that Grutes can do for you.
Project Summary:
Excavation of the foundation area took place in April. We focused on grading the space so that it would be level and smooth.
The basement walls and foundation for the rest of the property have been set. One wall has four large window wells, which will let in a lot of natural light.
Our custom framing job has started taking shape. We have most of the sheeting up and will continue working hard to get this beauty completely framed in before the harsh Idaho winters roll in. (8/6/21)
The middle of August brings with it the promise of an enclosed and waterproofed home. We’ve got shingles on the roof and much of the brickwork completed. (8/18/21)
We’re kicking off September with a nearly finished exterior! The brickwork is completed, as is most of the siding. We’re using a medium-tone grey on the trim work, which is a nice compliment to the dark brick and bright white siding.
By the beginning of March, we were putting the finishing touches on this beautiful custom home. We had stunning granite countertops and stainless steel appliances installed in the kitchen, and all of the bedrooms got customized closets with lots of storage. One of our favorite features in this home are the sparkling glass light fixtures!
